The wait is over.

For the first time, the Washington Commanders will be featured on HBO's "Hard Knocks" docuseries.

HBO and the NFL announced on Wednesday that the NFC East will be focus of the in-season version of "Hard Knocks." It will debut in December.

It is the second year that HBO and the NFL have featured an entire division, with the AFC North getting the nod in 2024.

New episodes featuring the Commanders, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, will roll out every Tuesday in December and continue into the playoffs.

The NFC East has not had a repeat winner since 2004.

The Commanders will be getting a lot of exposure in primetime and stand alone games this season. There is certainly a lot of buzz with the team after last year's appearance in the NFC Championship game. It also doesn't hurt to have Jayden Daniels under center, who is quickly becoming one of the big faces in the NFL.
