WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is looking to identify a man accused of slashing the tire of a police cruiser.
On June 11 around 6 p.m., the man walked up to a marked MPD vehicle parked in front of an apartment in the 1200 block of North Capitol Street NW.
The man used a sharp object to cut one of the tires, causing it to deflate. There was no officer in the cruiser at the time.

The suspect was later seen on surveillance cameras.
