The storm will weaken over land; however, tropical moisture will spread north into the Mid-Atlantic by the weekend.

Local areas could also see a Flood Alert heading into next week as rain could continue into Monday and Tuesday.
The Baltimore-Washington area National Weather Service has started launching extra weather balloons to help collect data to provide better forecasts for the storm.
