Lunchbox Weather at Clearview ES in Herndon, VA

WASHINGTON (7News) — Meteorologist Alex Liggitt visited the 2nd graders at Clearview ES in Herndon, VA for our Lunchbox Weather program. Alex had the kids come out for a visit in front of the school to check out StormTrak7. The kids were tasked to find out how we investigate the weather so we discussed a lot about the various tools and instruments we use such as weather stations, satellite and radar.

The kids learned how we use or StormTrak7 vehicle to get on air and experience live weather conditions across the DMV. They had amazing questions and we would like to thank Mrs. Wilson for inviting us to your school!
