The Washington Commanders are back to work.

Another round of organized team activities (OTA) at took place at the team headquarters in Ashburn. These are completely voluntary workouts for the players.

Some big names were missing from the field on Wednesday. Terry McLaurin, Laremy Tunsil, and Marshon Lattimore were not in attendance.

Head coach Dan Quinn was in mid-season form. He's already setting the tone for the upcoming season.

7News Sports Director Scott Abraham was asking Quinn a question about the hunters versus the hunted, when Quinn quickly jumped in before the question was finished.

“We are always the hunters. Okay. Don't go there. I know I'm cutting you off right before you get started. That way we don't have to like get into are you the hunter, the hunted, like we are always the hunters," Quinn told Abraham. "We've got a lot to prove. And so, for us, that is what the hunting is. It's the, it's not something that's going to be on at the end of the season. It's right now about these next three weeks, we've got a couple weeks of OTAs and a mini camp, and it's like absolutely going after it as hard as we can to see how good we can get, and then we'll worry about training camp. But the hunter is a mindset, it's an attitude of absolutely delivering and going for it. But that's who we are. And that doesn't change anything done previously. It's just how we get down.”

Jayden Daniels was at the center of attention. He was smiling and flying around the field.

Daniels does look bigger, adding some muscle mass for the grind that is the NFL season.

"I was just working out. It wasn’t like I need to eat this amount. It was just go out there and have a plan and naturally just put on weight," Daniels said. "I’ve never been the type of individual that I could say looks for fame. I am a very introverted individual so I just go out there and live my life how I live it. I don’t really go to too many places or I didn’t before that so that isn’t going to change for me either.”

The Commanders return for another round of OTAs on Wednesday, June 4th.
