Some lucky dogs were pampered over the weekend at Paws on the PenFed Plaza.

Good Morning Washington was at Tysons Corner Center for the event and has all the details about the adorable activities.

PenFed Credit Union’s Samantha Weiss joined us to discuss the exciting event.

“Hopefully it's the most fun you'll ever have at a branch or a credit union because we have a pop-up branch installment where we're giving away doggy banks for the kiddos so they can start their savings accounts early,” Weiss said. “We've got an automatic treat machine for the puppies and a puppy photographer so you can add pics to the camera roll.”

Weiss discussed PenFed and its connection to the DMV.

“We are actually celebrating 90 years this year. So, we've been around for quite some time serving the community and we're one of America's largest credit unions open to anyone to join with nearly 3,000,000 members,” she said. “And the DMV is our hometown, right here in Tysons.”

PenFed prides itself in being a community business and Weiss discussed why the community is so important to them.

“At our core. It's who we are,” she said. “PenFed is tremendously proud to serve the communities in which we live and work. And so, we've partnered up with Tysons Corner Center on PenFed Plaza and. This allows us to join in all the fun with the great community events that they put together and it means we can do something nice for our members and also the community.”

At PenFed anyone can be a member. Visit PenFed.org to learn more about all they offer!
