After last week’s bombshell that Robyn gets the luggage rack in the relationship, we finally have a real idea of where Kody, Robyn, Meri, Janelle, and Christine all stand with each other and on polygamy.

The season finale episode of “Sister Wives: One on One” picks up after the luggage rack drama and looks back at Kody’s apparent favoritism of Robyn.

One of the issues that stuck out to Kody himself was that he quickly opened up to Robyn about a sexual encounter he had in college (in violation of his Mormon beliefs) more quickly than he did Janelle or Christine (he did tell Meri, his first wife).

But the positive spin Kody has on sharing that information rubs Christine the wrong way, admitting she felt left out.

It also made her question just how long Robyn and Kody were involved before she was brought in as a fourth wife. Janelle too notes that the pair had a long courtship, about a year, which dances on the edge of being inappropriate in their religion, and questions if she would have even gotten with Kody herself if they had courted that long.

Kody and Robyn insist that nothing happened before it was acceptable. It is worth highlighting that Kody gets agitated when interviewer Sukanya Krishnan presses him on whether or not he had any similar sexual encounters before college in his high school days. He claimed he was only “Mormon naughty,” and while he laughs off the tension, he tells Krishnan and the crew in the room that the question crossed a line for him.

All that leads to the real question of the episode: would any of them do polygamy again?

Kody says “hello no” and says they “already failed.” He earlier admitted it doesn’t work when you fall in love like he did with Robyn.

Robyn, on the other hand, admits she would consider it if there were certain guarantees, but is otherwise scared of it for now.

Meri is currently single and has no interest in dating, but did say she still believes in polygamy, adding it can work if everyone is committed to it.

Janelle revealed she’s kind of open to the idea, but doesn’t see it happening for herself in the near future. She is dating, and despite what people said about her lacking sexuality on “Sister Wives” with Kody, she considers herself very sexual, calling herself an “earth mama.”

Christine didn’t address polygamy directly in the episode, but previously said in interviews that she is no longer following that lifestyle with her new husband, David.
