It's back to work for the Washington Commanders.

Three days of mandatory minicamp begin on Tuesday, and then it's summer break for the coaches and players.

After missing OTAs, Laremy Tunsil and Marshon Lattimore were in attendance on Tuesday at the Commanders' team headquarters in Ashburn.

The only player missing was Terry McLaurin. The Washington wideout wants a contract extension.

However, no McLaurin, no problem for the rest of the team. This group is focused on the task at hand of getting better with every rep before training camp starts in late July.

"Sometimes football and business, they intersect, and this is one of those times. Terry is a fantastic teammate and really puts in the work and spent a lot of time with them already this offseason," Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said. "The business side of things, Adam [Peters] and their crew and Terry and his group, let them work through that. But in the meantime, lots of stuff to do and we try to customize as much as we can, who can do what? Who's in rehab? Who can do some things? Who can do everything? Who needs to see more during this time of year? And who do we need to see less? And so, this is one of those times you're really able to customize the script and the work to do that.”

This is also a big upcoming season for Brian Robinson Jr.

The Commanders' running back is entering the final year of his rookie contract in Washington.

Robinson averaged a career-high 4.3 yards per carry in his first year in Kingsbury's offense. The 26-year-old generated a career-high 799 yards and eight touchdowns on 187 totes in 14 games in 2024.

"Just to prove who I am to the program, but to myself. It's the biggest year to do that," Robinson Jr. said. "Just continue to show who I am and what I'm about. I'm excited to continue along here and to show why I'm here and supposed to be here."

Day two of minicamp is set for Wednesday afternoon at team headquarters in Ashburn.
