Although Pride weekend here in D.C. won’t be a washout, on-and-off wet weather chances across the DMV will continue through late Sunday.

Saturday afternoon features scattered showers along with a few rumbles of thunder. Although skies will brighten a bit during the afternoon, any showers that develop may produce an isolated downpour. Highs for the day will range from the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Scattered showers may dampen area roadways Saturday night. Highs Sunday may be on the cooler side with added clouds and storm chances.

Showers and thunderstorms may become strong to severe Sunday afternoon. Gusty winds and small hail are the main threats.

The Storm Prediction Center has parts of the DMV under a "slight" risk. Some severe weather alerts will be possible.

Expect warmer temperatures throughout the coming week, and perhaps the first 90 degree day of the year.
