WASHINGTON (7News) — The First Alert Weather team is on Storm Alert Friday. An approaching cold front ahead of very hot and humid conditions will set the stage for isolated strong to severe storms
After reaching 90 degrees for the first time in D.C. on Thursday, we will likely reach it again Friday afternoon. These hot temperatures with higher humidity will be some of the main ingredients for strong storms.
We are looking at possible activities happening mainly in the afternoon and early evening.
Primary threats will be storms capable of producing damaging winds, small hail, and heavy rain.
Remain weather aware and stay tuned to your First Alert Weather team for the latest updates to the forecast.
