WASHINGTON (7News) — World Pride 2025 continues through this weekend in Washington, D.C.
Several events are already underway, and many more are planned over the coming days.
Friday kicks off the World Pride Music Festival: Global Dance Party at RFK Festival Grounds. Most of Friday stays dry, but a leftover shower or storm is possible in D.C. late in the day.
Storms will develop off the higher terrain, but most model guidance has thunderstorms weakening before reaching D.C.
Saturday features the annual Capital Pride parade on 14th Street.
Unfortunately, rain is looking likely to start the day, but breaks in the rain are expected throughout the day.
A cold front associated with an area of low pressure will be pushing through the DC area on Saturday. If rain occurs in the morning, the risk for afternoon strong storms would decrease.
However, the front is expected to move slowly through the area, so rain may occur at times throughout much of the day.

Saturday also features day two of the music festival and the first day of the street festival on Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.
